Hasan Piker Is an Idiot

Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker has made a career out of being loud and outrageous. But sometimes, he doesn’t just cross the line, he erases it completely. These aren’t clever hot-takes. These are moments where he said the quiet part out loud, and it was ugly.

1. “America deserved 9/11, dude. Fuck it, I’m saying it.”

Think about that for a second. Thousands of people murdered, families torn apart forever, and Hasan’s take was that they “deserved” it. He wasn’t quoting someone else, he wasn’t being sarcastic, he literally said it with his chest. That one clip should’ve been enough to end his career right there.

2. “This guy … literally lost his eye because some mujahideen — a brave fucking soldier — fucked his eyehole with their dick.”

This wasn’t just bad taste. This was grotesque. Hasan thought it was funny to describe how Rep. Dan Crenshaw, who lost his eye serving in Afghanistan, got injured. He turned a war wound into a disgusting sex joke. People across the spectrum, left, right, center, were horrified. And Hasan? He doubled down before eventually laughing it off.

3. “If Republicans cared about Medicare fraud or Medicaid fraud, [they] would kill Rick Scott.”

That’s not a slip of the tongue. That’s not a metaphor. That’s Hasan literally saying out loud that Republicans should kill a U.S. Senator. He later backpedaled with some nonsense about “maximum punishment,” but the damage was already done. He said it, and it’s on tape.

4. “Kill them! Kill those motherfuckers and murder those motherfuckers in the streets! Let the streets soak in their red-capitalist bloods, dude.”

Yes, this is a real quote. Hasan screaming into his mic about killing people and soaking the streets with blood. Elon Musk wasn’t exaggerating when he called it “incitement to murder.” You hear it yourself and there’s no way to spin it as “just rhetoric.” It’s violent fantasy, plain and simple.

5. “Bloodthirsty pig dogs.”

That’s what Hasan allegedly called Jewish people during one of his streams. A sitting Congressman, Ritchie Torres, publicly flagged it in a letter to Twitch and Amazon. Imagine saying that about any group of people and still having a platform. If anyone else had spat out that kind of language, they’d be gone overnight.

6. “I’m not ‘Mr. False Flag’ … but … every single thing this guy did … was so fucking crazy that you could not have designed a better false flag incident.”

After a shooting outside the Capital Jewish Museum, this was Hasan’s take. Not empathy. Not outrage. Conspiracy bait. Tossing around the idea that it could’ve been a “false flag.” When paranoia already floods social media, Hasan decided to add more fuel.

7. “Cracker.” (again and again)

Twitch finally had to ban him in 2021 for this one. Hasan spammed the word “cracker” over and over, daring the platform to act. His excuse? That it wasn’t a “real slur.” Easy to say when you’re the one hurling it at others for laughs. It wasn’t edgy, it was lazy racism, and he milked the drama for clicks.

8. “Rape fantasies” and “rape hallucinations.”

This one is hard to even type out. Hasan referred to accounts of sexual violence in conflict zones as “rape fantasies” or “rape hallucinations.” That’s not edgy, that’s not funny, that’s not political commentary. That’s dismissing real suffering as if it were made up. It’s callous to the point of cruelty.

At this stage, Hasan Piker isn’t just a provocateur. He’s a man who has screamed for blood in the streets, laughed at a soldier’s eye injury, dismissed rape survivors, and said America “deserved 9/11.” And he still streams to millions, pulling in money and sponsorships. The truth is ugly: platforms reward his worst behaviour because outrage pays.
