An Indian manager at a motel in Dallas, Texas, fell victim to a horrific murder on Wednesday morning after an illegal alien with a history of violent crime beheaded him in broad daylight. The victim has been identified as Chandra Nagamallaiah.
The murderer, identified as Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, was arrested on the spot. He was carrying the machete he used to behead Nagamallaiah when the police found him. As per Fox News, Cobos-Martinez is an illegal immigrant from Cuba.
The Indian Embassy in Houston has condemned the brutal murder of Chandra Nagamallaiah. In a statement on X, the Embassy said, “We are in touch with the family and offering all possible assistance. The accused is in the custody of Dallas Police. We are following up on the matter closely.”
Cobos-Martinez beheaded Chandra Nagamallaiah in front of wife and son
As per the arrest affidavit, Chandra Nagamallaiah told Cobos-Martinez not to use a broken washing machine when he was cleaning a room with a co-worker. According to the co-worker, Cobos-Martinez became enraged that Nagamallaiah did not speak to him directly but asked the co-worker to translate.
The affidavit says, “Video shows the suspect then exited the motel room and produced a machete from his person and started cutting and stabbing the complainant multiple times.” Nagamallaiah then attempted to run for the office. His wife and son made several unsuccessful attempts to stop the attack.

Cobos-Martinez then kicked the victim’s decapitated head into the parking lot before putting it in the dumpster. The Police found him with the machete in his hands and Nagamallaiah’s key card and cell phone. He admitted to the killing during interrogation.
The Cuban national has been charged with murder and placed on an ICE hold at the Dallas County jail.
Who is Yordanis Cobos-Martinez?
Coboz-Martinez is an illegal alien from Cuba. The Biden Administration released him into the USA in January despite an active deportation order. This happened one week before Donald Trump took office as President.
The Cuban was released due to “no significant likelihood of removal in the foreseeable future”. According to Bill Melugin of Fox News, the Biden administration did not believe they could enforce the deportation order because of lack of cooperation from Cuba.
The illegal alien had a history of prior violent conduct. He was convicted of false imprisonment in California. False imprisonment is the act of restraining someone against their will without legal authority. In 2017, he was accused of carjacking a woman in South Lake Tahoe, a city in California, while he was naked. The incident eventually led to his conviction in 2023 and a year and half long prison sentence.
He was also accused of indecency with a child and a vehicle theft in Texas and Florida respectively. These charges were later dropped. There was an active warrant for probation violation against him in California at the time of murder.
