Demon Slayer Infinity Castle has crossed the ₹50 crore mark in Indian Box Office Collections. This is the first part of a trilogy of movies. Demon Slayer, the official English title of the series Kimetsu No Yaiba, is the anime adaption from the Manga of the same name.
Demon Slayer Infinity Castle earned ₹51.20 crore in its first six days at the Box Office after its release on September 12. The movie earned ₹40 crore during its opening weekend. Significantly, half of its earnings have come from the original Japanese version.
Stunningly, its Hindi language earnings is higher than in English. The Hindi dub has earned ₹10.60 crore while the English dub has raked in ₹9.50 crore. Demon Slayer Infinity Castle is now the 2nd-highest grossing animated film in India, next only to Mahavtar Narsimha. Interestingly, Mahavtar Narsimha also released in theatres this year and has earned over ₹200 crores at the Box Office.
Famous Indian movie stars also participated in the promotions for Demon Slayer Infinity Castle. Notably, Tiger Shroff and Rashmika Mandanna were spotted at a special fan screening of the movie.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Stuns Bollywood
Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle has crossed the lifetime collections of Son of Sardaar 2 at the Box Office. It will also cross Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 4 as per projections. Baaghi 4 earned ₹52 crores at the Box Office. Demon Slayer’s stellar performance should serve as wake-up call for Bollywood.

It is also testament to the rising popularity of the anime genre in India. There has been a huge growth in the popularity of anime over the past decade.
