It has been three days since India precisely stuck terror camps across Pakistan. No civilian populated area or military installations were attacked. Pakistan being Pakistan, wanted to to escalate and but they did not expect that India will call their bluff. The Indian side form the get go stated this clearly in their 7th May press release –
“Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution.” – Ministry of Defence.
On the intervening night of 7th-8th May, Pakistan started indiscriminate shelling across LoC, at multiple location. Which claimed sixteen innocent lives, including five children and three women. Pakistan also tried to engage military targets on the Indian side across Northern and western India engaging fifteen locations but India’s integrated Air Defence Prevailed. India was forced to retaliate using mortar and targeted artillery fire to counter unprovoked firing across LoC.
On 8th May, India launched several attacks targeting key military installations across Pakistan, neutralising the air defence systems in Lahore. Humiliated after the entire Pakistani defence establishment caught napping, the Pakistani state resorted to targeting Indian population centers again. Last night, the intervening night of 9th-10th May, Pakistan again tried to target population centers across Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan and many other western and Northern areas.

Initial intel points to the missile intercepted over Sirsa being a Fatah-2. It was successfully tracked and neutralized by either the Barak 8 or the S-400 system.

They also attacked temples and civilian areas in Jammu & kashmir. Here are some verified videos from Minsitry of Defence.

The MEA in its press briefing has confirmed that 5 airbases have been hit by the Indian Armed forces throughout Pakistan. With the introduction of ballistic missiles to target Indian population, Pakistan has made a gave judgmental error. It basically justifies whatever response India will be forced to take to counter such a blatant threat to the lives of Indian Citizens.
Pakistan’s continued escalation along the western front through drone incursions and munitions is a matter of grave concern.

Now, the responsibility for the events to come rests squarely on the shoulders of the Pakistani army, which continues to target Indian population centers as part of their misadventures.
