How Epstein Files Exposed the Broken Fantasy of TrumpWorld

The second Trump Presidency has come as a rude shock of many of his supporters. While only the most fanatic of his supporters expected Donald Trump to follow through on all his radical promises, it is safe to assume that almost no one expected it to be this bad. Trump has been flirting with the idea of amnesty for illegal immigrants who work in the agricultural sector, his campaign promise to end the Russia-Ukraine War is going nowhere and his supporters have found themselves in a situation where Trump is calling the Epstein Files a ‘Democrat Hoax’.

Trump supporters have swallowed with great difficulty the bitter pill that his Ukraine Policy is basically a repeat of the Biden Regime and his deportation numbers are nowhere as it needs to be. However, so far, they have failed to absorb the shock that their ‘God Emperor’ has proclaimed that the Epstein Files are a ‘nothingburger’. It’s not their fault. A lot of them truly believed that it was Divine Providence that Donald Trump survived the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania by a whisker. When you well and truly believe that, it would be slightly difficult to convince yourself that God saved Donald Trump so that he could coverup for a pedophile ring.

‘You were supposed to destroy the Swamp, not join them!’

Trump’s entire political career, that now spans a decade, was hinged upon a singular promise. He would destroy the swamp in Washington DC. As Michael Moore put it so eloquently in 2016, he is the ‘human molotov cocktail’ that his voters hurled at the ‘system’ to blow it up. That did not happen when he was elected President the first time. Again, his supporters had huge hopes from him in 2024. It has not happened six and a half months into his second term as well. If anything, his second term has confirmed that he never intended to ‘destroy the swamp’.

Nonetheless, even his worst enemies could not have predicted that he would have joined the swamp. But he has. His conduct during the whole Epstein Files Circus has conclusively proven it. American patriots can no longer labour under the delusion that it is only one party that is hand in gloves with the worst elements of American society. They can no longer convince themselves that it is only one party that is the problem here. They can no longer pretend that there’s a Prince in White Cloaks around the corner coming to save them from themselves. That fantasy is over.

Trump’s Epstein Files Betrayal will not be forgotten

During the run up to the 2024 Presidential Elections, Donald Trump on several occasions claimed he was open to releasing the Epstein Client List. His Attorney General Pam Bondi had said earlier this year that files related to the Client List were “sitting on my desk right now to review.” The Trump Administration had even made a huge show out of the release of what it called the “first phase” of Declassified Epstein Files. Nothing has been released since then and Pam Bondi has confirmed that nothing more is on its way.

The ‘Podcast Bros’ joined the bandwagon only recently, so it is not surprising that they were among the first to jump off it. But Tucker Carlson and quite a few others who have supported Trump since 2015 have become disillusioned with him as well. Alex Jones, of all people, has lost faith in the man. The only ones who do appear to trust Trump at the moment are the neocons at Washington DC. Lindsey Graham appears to be his only friend right now.

It would be unfair to assert that Trump has received no support at all from unexpected quarters. Famous Horror author Stephen King has never agreed with the US President ever on any matter whatsoever since he took the plunge into politics. Until now that is. King is one of the few people who appears to agree with Trump that the Epstein Files are a fairy tale, like the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus.

Well, Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty of child sex trafficking in the Epstein Case. Prince Andrew was accused of sexual assault and battery by one Epstein victim. While he was not criminally charged over it, a Civil Lawsuit was filed by Virginia Giuffre which Prince Andrew settled out of court for $12 million. Andrew was also stripped of his military titles and royal patronages by the British Royal Family. Given what we know so far, it is fair to assume that Epstein and Maxwell had at least one client. And where there’s smoke, there is always a fire.

How Epstein Files shattered the myth of Trump’s righteousness

In Trumpworld, the American Billionaire has always been more than a run off the mill politician. In the eyes of his supporters, Trump was the embodiment of righteousness. Especially in the run up to the 2016, Hillary Clinton was portrayed as the Harlot of Babylon, a fair moniker given her history. Conversely, Trump was seen as someone who was up against the demonic political establishment of both parties, the Satanic Entertainment Industry and the mainstream media that enables the worst tendencies of the American Elite.

Looking back, the narratives back then appear to be from another world. The Podesta Files, ‘Pizzagate’, ‘Spirit Cooking’, these were all huge stories back then. There were a lot of creepy details in these stories. All of this led to the QAnon Conspiracy Theory, which even Trump leaned into on occasions to embellish the moral righteousness of his cause. Milo Yiannopoulos may be wrong about a whole host of things but he got it spot on when he concludes that the idea that “the world is ruled by a pedophile cabal and “systemic pedophilia” is inherent to the current order” is one of the “core planks” of MAGA.

It might be hard for most people to comprehend but Trump supporters really believed that he would destroy the demonic cabal of pedophiles. It would be easy to label them idiots because they are idiots indeed. But they are not idiots for believing that the West is ruled by a Pedophile Ring, because that part is clearly true as the handling of the Epstein Files demonstrates. They are idiots for believing that Trump would ever deliver them from evil.

Donald Trump has left his supporters disillusioned

Despite significant outrage on X, Trump has only doubled down on his bewildering claims that the Epstein Files are a ‘Hoax’. In a long drawn tirade on Truth Social, the American President has labelled the whole controversy the ‘Jeffery Epstein Hoax’. He claims that his past supporters have bought into the ‘scam’ ‘hook, line and sinker’. His supporters have put up with a lot of his eccentricities but this is a step too far even for them.

Matt Walsh from the Daily Wire said on X, “There is just no way for an honest person to look at this set of facts and come away with the conclusion that the administration is in the right on this issue.” Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald had far harsher words for the American President. He said, “The brazen audacity of how Trump is heaping scorn on his own supporters over Epstein, the complete fabrications he’s inventing to do so, and the pretense that all along this was just a hoax created by the “Far Left,” is almost impressive in its shamelessness.”

Needless to say, some influencers are backing Trump on this. But the overwhelming consensus in Trumpworld appears to be that these influencers are not inspired by the truth of Trump’s claims but more material incentives such as dollars and access. It’s still unclear how the entire matter will unfold given Trump’s proclivities for U-Turns on a dime. But the fantasy that Trump is somehow morally superior to his political peers is over. The disillusionment among his support base will remain and continue to fester.
