Anti-Feminist and far-right political activist Lauren Southern has recently accused Andrew Tate of sexual assault and rape. In her recently published memoir, “This is not real life”, she spoke publicly about how Andrew Tate took her to a hotel in Romania and sexually assaulted her.
According to Lauren Southern, the incident took place in Romania when she along with British far-right activist Tommy Robinson went to meet the Tate brothers. This was for a possible joint media venture.
Andrew Tate who is known for his controversial remarks on women and misogynist views invited Southern for a dinner. Later, Tate took Lauren to a nightclub where she got intoxicated. From there, the Canadian influencer was taken to her hotel where the alleged sexual assault happened.
Accusations against Andrew Tate by Lauren Southern
As per reports, Lauren wrote in her memoir “He asked me to sleep beside him… I said yes. I was incredibly intoxicated.” Further she wrote that she just wanted to sleep but Tate strangled and assaulted her. “He put his arm around my neck and began strangling me unconscious. I tried to fight back. He repeatedly strangled me every time I regained enough consciousness to pull at his arms.”
Further, she stated that her anti-feminist image stopped her from filing any case. She kept quiet for years. Back then, Lauren Southern was a prominent voice in the Manosphere circles speaking against feminism. She also actively spoke against feminist views on rape culture.
As of now, there is no confirmation about Lauren Southern filing any case against Andrew Tate. However, she said she would help the police with the ongoing investigations against Andrew Tate who face 10 criminal charges in the UK. The charges against Tate include rape, assault, and coercive control. Tate’s brother Tristan faces 11 charges. Tate brothers are also under separate investigation in Romania for human trafficking and “sex cam” business.
