American far-right political activist, Laura Loomer, known for peddling conspiracy theories and anti-Islam propaganda has targeted American broadcaster and former Fox news journalist Tucker Carlson. In a post on the social media platform X, she suggested that Tucker Carlson has converted to Islam. Recently, Carlson has condemned the killing of Palestinians in Gaza who are predominantly Muslims.

X users called out her hypocrisy and said that empathising with Gaza victims does not have anything to do with conversion to Islam.
One X user accused her of being Mossad agent for her post on Carlson.

Donald Trump is firing ‘disloyal’ employees
As per a recent report, around 16 people have been fired from the Trump administration after Loomer accuse them of being disloyal to the the US president.
She also put a post on X asking people to report her if they know anyone in the current administration from the Obama-Biden era who should be exposed for their misdeeds.

She called it ‘Tip Line – Loomered’ asking her followers, “Know an Obama-Biden holdover inside the Trump admin who needs to be exposed for their misdeeds? Contact the Loomered Tip Line. Anonymity guaranteed.”
As per Loomer, she is ready to ‘purge’ around hundreds of officials who do not pass her loyalty test. She said that her tip line most likely to be used by current staffs under trump administration itself.
She said, “I’m happy to take people’s tips about disloyal appointees, disloyal staffers, and Biden holdovers,” adding, “And I guess you could say that my tip line has come to serve as a form of therapy for Trump administration officials who want to expose their colleagues who should not be in the positions that they’re in.”

Soon after the post, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll cancelled the offer to Jen Easterly who was supposed to be the Robert F. McDermott Distinguished Chair in West Point’s social sciences department.
Loomer allegedly played a role in removing Dr. Vinay Prasad, a top vaccine official at the FDA after it was found that Prasad joked about stabbing a voodoo doll to “curse” Trump in a 2021 audio clip.
A White House source said that White House officials indeed contacted Loomer whenever they wanted someone removed from the office. A source said, “She talks to the President about stuff, and she knows how to characterize things and successfully move the needle on issues,” adding, “I think she is f—ing crazy, but she is also influential.”
