Edward Coristine, also known as ‘Big Balls’, has suffered a brutal assault while trying to save a woman from carjacking thugs in Washington, D.C. Coristine is a 19-year-old US government employee working with the Social Security Administration (SSA). He had earlier worked with Elon Musk, who led DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency). However, he resigned from DOGE in late June and joined the SSA.
According to reports, Edward Coristine saved the woman from a violent mob of alleged ‘black’ teenagers who were trying to steal the woman’s car.

The Metropolitan Police Department reported that the carjacking attempt took place around 3 a.m. Sunday morning near Dupont Circle. 10 juveniles ambushed Coristine and the woman. The woman was apparently Coristine’s ‘significant’ other or girlfriend.
Edward Coristine helped the woman get into the car and escape, but was brutally assaulted by the teenagers afterwards. The police report said that the gang came for the vehicle and later stole Coristine’s iPhone 16, worth $1,000.
A former friend and colleague of Edward Coristine posted about the incident on X, where he said, “My friend Big Balls is a hero. I took this photo after Edward protected a young woman from an attempted carjacking by 8 thugs near Dupont Circle. Violence like this in the heart of DC is completely unacceptable.”

Elon Musk stated that it’s time to ‘federalise’ Washington D.C, posting on X about the incident. “A few days ago, a gang of about a dozen young men tried to assault a woman in her car at night in DC. US President Donald Trump said on his platform, Truth Social, that ‘crime’ in Washington was totally out of control. He said, “Crime in Washington, D.C is totally out of control. Local ‘youths’ and gang members, some only 14,15 and 16 years old, are randomly attacking, mugging, maiming, and shooting innocent Citizens, at the same time knowing that they will be almost immediately released”.
He went on saying, “Law in D.C must be changed to prosecute these ‘minors’ as adults, and lock them up for a long time, starting at age 14.”

Independent journalist Nick Sortor pointed out the existing lawlessness in D.C. He said, “People here in DC are TERRIFIED to walk the streets after dark. And they should be! It’s absolutely LAWLESS out here. And these violent criminals are getting increasingly brazen every day. TAKE BACK OUR NATION’S CAPITAL!”

Meanwhile, the police have detained two 15-year-olds, one male and one female, from Hyattsville, Maryland, after the incident. Both teenagers were charged with unarmed carjacking
