Multiple explosions were heard in Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir well past midnight on Wednesday. The missiles were launched from the Indian side of the border. Terrorists associated with LeT and Jaish-e-Muhammad were targeted as part of the attack.
Despite India’s calibrated and non-escalatory approach, Operation Sindoor is likely to invite a Pakistani response. Indian missile strikes did not hit any Pakistani military installations, despite clear evidence of having the capability to do so.
