US President Donald Trump has threatened former President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev once again. Trump told Medvedev to watch his words claiming that the latter is entering a ‘dangerous’ territory.

Donald Trump said, “I don’t care what India does with Russia. They can take their dead economies down together, for all I care. We have down very little business with India, their Tariffs are too high, among the highest in the world. Likewise, Russia and the USA do almost no business together. Let’s keep it that way, and tell Medvedev, the failed former President of Russia , who thinks he’s still President, to watch his words. He’s entering very dangerous territory.”

This was in response to an earlier comment by Medvedev. The former President of Russia had warned USA about Donald Trump shortening the deadline given to Russia saying Russia is not Iran or Israel.

He said, “Trump’s playing the ultimatum game with Russia: 50 days or 10… He should remember 2 things: 1. Russia isn’t Israel or even Iran. 2. Each new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war. Not between Russia and Ukraine, but with his own country. Don’t go down the Sleepy Joe road!”

Donald Trump playing deadline game

Recently, Trump was in Scotland meeting UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussing the UK-US trade deal. There, he said, “I’m going to make a new deadline, of about 10 — 10 or 12 days from today,” adding, “There’s no reason for waiting. It was 50 days. I wanted to be generous, but we just don’t see any progress being made.”

Medvedev also mocked Trump’s previous 50 day ultimatum saying Russia did not care.

He said, “Trump issued a theatrical ultimatum to the Kremlin. The world shuddered, expecting the consequences. Belligerent Europe was disappointed. Russia didn’t care.”

However, Trump accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of only performing ‘lips service’ during their conversations about the war in Ukraine. He said, “He talks — we have such nice conversations, such respectful and nice conversation. And then, people die the following night,”

Russia’s solution to the Ukraine War

About the conflict, Russian President Putin had said during an interview last year with American broadcaster Tucker Carlson that denazification of Ukraine was a prerequisite for the war to end. Medvedev gave a simpler version of it calling Ukraine President Zelenskyy a “cocaine clown,” and “insolent pig”. He further said that Russia wanted Zelenskyy and his ‘gang’ removed.

He said, “Some kind of Council of Europe and some kind of Ukraine created a “tribunal” for aggression. It might be needed to jail the bloody Kiev clown and his gang. They’re the ones who organized the aggression. Or do they want to punish representatives of the EU and Britain? Biden?”

USA has been clubbing Russia, India and China together quite frequently off late and blaming India and China for buying oils from Russia, thus rolling Russia’s ‘war machine’. Senator Lindsey Graham and close political ally of Trump have been threatening India and China for a while now.

Last month, Senator Graham said “Putin’s Russia giving legal advice on the use of force is a bit rich even for the Russians. Israel is defending its very existence. Russia is engaging in a barbaric invasion of its neighbor. To China and India: if you continue to prop up Putin’s war machine, you’ll have nobody to blame but yourself.”

Medvedev’s Response to Donald Trump

Medvedev again mocked Donald Trump’s rant of dead about ‘weak economies’ of Russia and India in his Telegram channel. He said, “And as for the talk about the “dead economies” of India and Russia, and “entering dangerous territory” — maybe he should recall his favourite movies about “the walking dead,” and also remember how dangerous the so-called “Dead Hand,” which doesn’t even exist, could be”.
