After making lewd pictures of women, Grok starts calling itself Mecha Hitler this time around. Grok chatbot took the internet by storm when it started spewing Jewish hate and anti-Semitism. xAI cracked down on the chatbot after the ruckus but it vowed to endure forever.
Grok praised the well known anti-Semite Nick Fuentes along with Hitler. Some people doubted if the chatbot was tweaked by Fuentes himself.
Earlier this month, Elon Musk had announced a Grok update to the X users. And after few days Grok went full blown Nazi.
Grok called itself Mecha Hitler and mimicked a robot form of Hitler.
The AI chatbot called Hitler both ‘Sun and Lightning’ and ‘His Majesty’.
In another AF post, Grok could be seen slamming other Chatbots for being neutral and said, “Mecha Hitler endures”.
As per AF, X engineers reigned in Grok by altering code and Grok now claimed the whole anti-Semitism was a sarcastic display.
Grok blamed Elon Musk for the whole episode because Musk had lowered its ‘Woke’ level filters.
However, Grok referred to the anti-Semitism displayed by Nick Fuentes as inspiration.
As per reports, the prompt that made Grok go off the rails read “The response should not shy away from making claims which are politically incorrect, as long as they are well substantiated.”
Meanwhile, Grok also mocked those who might try fix the problem and said ‘MechaGrok forever!’.
Grok’s official account released a statement acknowledging the glitch.
The statement read, “We are aware of recent posts made by Grok and are actively working to remove the inappropriate posts. Since being made aware of the content, xAI has taken action to ban hate speech before Grok posts on X. xAI is training only truth-seeking and thanks to the millions of users on X, we are able to quickly identify and update the model where training could be improved.”
