Pro Palestinian protesters in New York City are now raising pro Iran slogans . As per reports, the protests erupted on Sunday in New York City after USA bombed three key nuclear sites in Iran – Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
Protesters rallied together from Times Square to Columbus Circle raising flags and chanting slogans, “Stop the war in Iran,” “Hands off Iran,” and “No new war in the Middle East.”
New York City (NYC) protests gained momentum after the release of Mahmoud Khalil. Khalil is a pro Palestinian activist has been released after spending 100 days in ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) detention.
The NYC Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) posted on Instagram, “NYC PSL joined thousands for a press conference welcoming home Mahmoud Khalil!”
PSL added, “After the press conference, Mahmoud joined the people for a march to Columbia” and said the crowd were chanting, “Columbia, Columbia you can’t hide! You’re supporting genocide!”
In another video, these Palestinian activists and protesters could be seen chanting “No war with Iran”.
The post called the US attack on Iran nuclear sites murderous and claimed thousands across United States ‘demanded’ an end to it.
In one video, a protester claimed that the release of Mahmoud Khalil from ICE detention marked a victory for the movement. He claimed that the protesters and the movement led to the release of Mahmoud Khalil. He also said that the movement will stop the US deportation of illegal immigrants.
Demonstrators have also called Trump a war Criminal and called for mass mobilization on June 26. According to the protesters and PSL, June 26 will be the National Day of Action.

Earlier, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that allowing Mahmoud Khalil to remain in the country could undermine US policy against anti-Semitism. He said in a memo, “Condoning anti-Semitic conduct and disruptive protests in the United States would severely undermine that significant foreign policy objective.”
