“I am America” is what far-right political commentator Nick Fuentes said when he went on a rant against Tucker Carlson, a prominent conservative media person in the United States of America.
The Carlson-Fuentes’ online war started after Tucker Carlson called Nick Fuentes an ‘angry gay kid in a basement’ in a podcast with Candace Owens.

Carlson said, “Nick Fuentes, this child, this weird little gay kid in basement in Chicago…”
After this, Fuentes went on a rant against Tucker Carlson on his channel. He pointed out that Carlson who was outspoken regarding the plight of average Americans not being able to afford their own home, called him a kid living in a basement. He said he was the America that Carlson boasted of representing.
Nick Fuentes Responds
According to Nick Fuentes, Carlson has only recently started caring about credit card debt and becoming the spokesperson for White Americans. That too after many years of bragging about belonging to ‘elite’ circles.

He said, “I am being accused of being CIA by Peter Thiel’s best boys? By Tucker Carlson with his daddy? Tucker Carlson said I am a weird gay kid in a basement? And I am from Chicago ? Yeah, you are right, but you are not right about all of that. But I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth.”
He went on to add, “Tucker Carlson says ‘I have so many trust funds I never have to work’. Tucker went to a 40,000 dollar per year private high school, then a $45,000 per year selective Ivy League School in New England. Tucker Carlson’s Daddy was a Reagan appointee. And then after years of bragging about being so out of touch and so rich… Now he is gonna be the spokesperson for the White people.”
He stated, “But then when it comes to me, I am among the real disaffected white people. You wanna talk about me and them? I am them.”
‘I am the disaffected White Man’
Further, Fuentes added, “He (Tucker Carlson) says I am leading the disaffected white men. I am the disaffected white man. I was a precocious, intelligent, young white college student who went to Boston University, who pro-Trump, red pilled by Trump, animated by the messages of America First and I asked questions about Israel and I was punished for it.”
“I did it years before Tucker Carlson started talking about Israel. Last Year. And I sacrificed, I was targeted by the ADL, SPLC, by the Federal government, by the conservative movement that both Tucker and Candace were part of. Candace and Tucker had nothing to say about Israel until it became unavoidable last year. Not popular but unavoidable,” Fuentes said.
Fuentes said Carlson starting speaking against Israel in the United States only when he saw there was no option. But, he, Nick Fuentes was speaking about the issue for a long time, that is around 8 years.
Carlson was earlier accused of working with CIA
Nick Fuentes has accused Carlson of being a CIA agent several times in the past. As per Fuentes, Carlson is part of the ‘controlled’ opposition. Carlson, just like his father, Richard Warner Carlson, is involved with the CIA, if allegations are to be believed.
Interestingly, Tucker Carlson in one of his earlier interviews in 2024 had said that he knew his father worked in close conjunction with the CIA. However, while talking to Candace Owens, Carlson said that he found out about his father’s connection with the CIA world only after his death this year in March. Fuentes said that was a ‘lie’.

Carlson also said that Fuentes was a talented guy but he was curious where Fuentes got his information from. He suggested that Fuentes might be involved with the CIA. Fuentes called it ‘hypocrisy’. The far-right commentator argued how is it possible that Carlson knew nothing about his father but was accusing Fuentes about being in the CIA.
Nick Fuentes challenge Tucker Carlson for a debate
Fuentes has apparently challenged Carlson for a debate after Carlson’s comments. He said, “Tucker I am ready. You are a journalist. you have made an accusation. You asked a question….if you have the balls to to gossip about me and make snarky personal attacks with Candace Owens, I think it’s only right that I should be able to reply.”

Tucker Carlson has come under fire from various sections of the American Rightwing recently. Trump toady Laura Loomer had suggested that the former Fox News Anchor had converted to Islam, given his sympathies for victims in Gaza.
