Popular far-right influencer Nick Fuentes targeted Ted Cruz for comments the Senator made at a Republican Jewish Coalition event. The Groyper Movement leader accused the Republican Senator of being an Israeli Puppet.
Nick Fuentes claimed that the criticism directed at influential journalist Tucker Carlson stems from Israel losing control of USA. This is consistent with his long standing claim that Israel controls USA’s Foreign Policy.
At the Republican Jewish Coalition, Ted Cruz says that he repeatedly begged Trump to bomb Iran for weeks.

Don’t let the $7k Club gaslight you into thinking that their attacks on Tucker Carlson and me are about “antisemitism.”

Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes were at odds with each other until recently when the journalist invited the Groyper to his podcast. After describing Fuentes as an “angry gay kid” earlier this year, Carlson invited him over for a civil conversation.
During the podcast, the duo criticised Israel heavily. They also criticised Christian Zionists for their affinity towards Israel. Coincidentally, Carlson had also invited Ted Cruz to the podcast in the midst of the Israel-Iran war. Then, the two had fiercely clashed on the matter of Israel and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

Carlson had called out Ted Cruz for taking donations from AIPAC. Israeli Influence in American politics through AIPAC has become a contentious issue across party lines. During the Israel-Iran War, MAGA influencers had accused Israel of attempting to drag the USA into another conflict in the Middle East.
Ted Cruz vs Nick Fuentes
Ted Cruz responded to Fuentes saying that the latter was mad because Donald Trump bombed Iran’s nuclear facilities. The Texas Senator called him a “Little Nazi” in the process.

Ted Cruz then went on to clarify that he had called Nick Fuentes a “Little Nazi” because it is “an accurate description of what he says he believes.” He further stated, “When you say, “Hitler is awesome. Hitler was right. And the Holocaust didn’t happen”… you’re not leaving a whole lot of ambiguity where you stand.”

Consequently, Ted Cruz cited a tweet from Marina Medvin to prove his point. In the tweet, Medvin had shared a video where Nick Fuentes can be seen laughing about his attempt to ‘red pill’ his parents. Fuentes says in the video that he told his parents the exact words Cruz quoted in his clarification.

Fuentes admits in the video that his parents were horrified by his opinions. He was laughing the entire time. His parents told him, “We did not raise you like this.” Medvin pointed out that while his parents were disgusted, Tucker Carlson does not find it problematic. Furthermore, she criticised Carlson for not questioning Fuentes about it.

Notably, Nick Fuentes has been at the forefront of generating anti-Israel sentiment among the MAGA base. Until recently, he was a fringe figure in American politics. Now, even influential conservative figures such as Tucker Carlson feel comfortable in platforming him.
In recent times, especially since the Israel-Iran War, anti-Israel sentiment has become mainstream on the American Right. Also, Nick Fuentes and his associates have actively participated in peddling racism against Indians on social media. Even non-White Trump officials such as Harmeet Dhillon have been a victim of their hate.
