Former Republican staffer Natalie Greene staged a brutal fake hate crime against herself in New Jersey, new court documents have revealed. According to federal prosecutors, she paid a ‘fetish artist’ to mutilate her body, the New York Post has reported.
An accomplice also painted ‘Trump Whore’ on her stomach. Prosecutors now say that the entire series of macabre events was part of a political stunt. Natalie Greene has claimed that 3 gunmen had approached her and a friend at the Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve, New Jersey.
According to Greene, the gunmen threatened to kill her and hit her on the head. The attackers then allegedly tied her with zip ties and slashed her face and body. She also claimed that they scrawled political abuses on her stomach and back because of her job. The prosecutors claimed that almost every detail was a lie.
How Natalie Greene pulled off the fake anti-MAGA hate crime
Greene went to Pennsylvania two days before the fake assault. There, she paid a professional body modification artist to mutilate her body. She met the artist on Instagram and paid $500 to inflict brutal wounds across her face, stomach, back and elsewhere.
The Police received a frantic call from her accomplice on the day of the attack. They found her with her hands and feet tied. ‘Trump Whore’ and ‘Van Drew is a racist’ were painted across her body with a black marker. She had deep scars all over her body.
Natalie Greene and her accomplice gave conflicting versions of events to the Police. The Police also discovered that her accomplice had bought zip ties very recently. The prosecutors have charged her for lying to federal law enforcement and conspiracy to peddle a hoax.
Greene is a 26 year old Rutgers Law Student. She worked for Van Dew, Republican Congressman from Ocean City, in 2022. “While Natalie is no longer associated with the congressman’s government office, our thoughts and prayers are with her and hope she’s getting he care she needs,” his office said.
