Harmeet Dhillon once again became the target of American racists after her 4-year old tweet went viral on X. In the tweet, she told Americans that they would have been suffering imaginably if not for Sikh truckers.
In the tweet thread from 2021, Harmeet Dhillon informed that she was visiting Kings County in California to meet “some patriots”. “Thank you to all the truckers on the road who keep our country running,” she said. She added in the next tweet, “Seriously if it weren’t for Sikh truckers … y’all would be eating grass rn.”

The second tweet did not go down well with Trump supporters. They saw it as evidence of Harmeet Dhillon being a ‘ Sikh ethno-nationalist’.
Racists abuse Harmeet Dhillon for the tweet
After the tweet resurfaced on X recently, the Trump Attorney has been receiving lots and lots of racist replies.
The replies were overflowing with nasty abuses.
Racists also called for the deportation of Dhillon and all Indians.
Trump supporters say Dhillon is not loyal to USA
Harmeet Dhillon has been a target for Trump supporters due to her Sikh faith for a long time. Now, the MAGA base has received another opportunity to renew their appeals for her removal from the White House.
One ‘America First’ account said that Dhillon is a ‘Sikh Nationalist’ and as a result, her loyalty is not towards Americans. He further asserted that citizenship should be limited to White immigrants.
Users also recalled her now-infamous Sikh prayer at the Republican National Convention in 2024. During her address, Dhillon had declared Waheguru as the ‘one true God’. Contrary to all scriptural evidence, she argued that Waheguru and Yahweh are the same God and that Sikhism is a monotheistic faith.
Another user argued that Donald Trump needs to replace Dhillon with someone “who will advocate for White Americans”. He further asserted that her “coethnics” were racially discriminating against White people.
For a long time, Dhillon has extensively pursued allying Sikhism with Abrahamic religions, especially Christianity. However, it appears that it has not helped her gain popularity with the MGAA base. Quite clearly, the ‘America First’ crowd does not see her as one of their own.
Nevertheless, it is unlikely that she will change course given that it has served her well professionally. Furthermore, Donald Trump values personal loyalty above all else. Given that she has amply demonstrated her loyalty towards the American President, it’s unlikely that the abuse from the ‘America First’ crowd will affect her career.
Dhillon had complained recently that she was seeing a huge rise in racism against Indians. She said it in a response to a tweet from Dinesh D’Souza. D’Souza, too, had said that he had seen nothing like it ever.
